Resumen

Los hongos fitopatógenos constituyen una amenaza significativa para la producción agrícola a nivel mundial, debido a su capacidad de provocar enfermedades severas en diversos cultivos, con consecuencias económicas significativas. F. oxysporum destaca entre los patógenos más agresivos por su impacto en cultivos de alto valor comercial. En el presente estudio se evaluó el efecto antifúngico de micropartículas de óxido de cobre (CuO), tamaño inferior a 10 μm sobre el crecimiento in vitro de F. oxysporum a concentraciones de CuO de 250, 500, 750, 1000 y 1250 ppm en medio de agar dextrosa papa. Los resultados evidenciaron una inhibición micelial progresiva con el aumento de la concentración, alcanzando hasta un 74 % de inhibición con 1250 ppm. Estos hallazgos sugieren que las micropartículas de CuO poseen un notable potencial antifúngico.
